Remarks:Lipoxin A4, 15-epi is an epimeric lipoxin A4 (catalog number sc-201060) analog that is more potent and metabolically stable than LXA4. Has been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties and serves as a "stop signal" to excessive leukocyte tafficking/infiltration. Lipoxin A4, 15-epi blocks TNF-a-induced IL-8 release in human enterocyte. It is also an important modulator of the many pharmacological actions caused by aspirin.
